Summary of Responsibilities: Workers are proficient in basic skills and occasionally require assistance in advanced functionality; understand business units¿ technical and/or business processes; possess intermediate administrative skills.- Performs various clerical, administrative and basic general duties including but not limited to data processing, record and file creation and maintenance, mail distribution, telephone reception, invoice processing and administrative support for department.- Demonstrates a solid commitment to all aspects of safety.- Produces a variety of correspondence, reports and presentations using the appropriate office equipment and software. - Demonstrates sound internal and/or external customer service.- Meets customer needs by providing sound service and responsiveness.- Increases understanding of customer expectations and improves job skills. - Builds relationships and credibility across organization.- Follows up with customers when appropriate.- Uses effective communication skills with good judgment.- Supports the department¿s administrative needs which may include maintaining of appointment calendars, meeting scheduling, and travel arrangements. Possess 4-7 years of related work experience. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.- Must demonstrate a questioning attitude to learn, produce results, and develop relationships.- Must have ability to follow established element practices, procedures, and instructions, and produce basic administrative work products in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.- Must have sound verbal and written communication skills.- Must have ability to work effectively in a team environment.- Must be able to work independently.- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.- Must have excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, helpful).- Must have the ability to deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines.- Must be able to handle confidential information.- Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work load.. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Administrative Assistants perform various clerical, administrative and basic general duties to support the Meter Reading department.

Responsibilities:
• Demonstrating a solid commitment to all aspects of safety.
• Performing clerical duties to support Meter Reading management including, but not limited to, accurate and timely entry of payroll time reporting and reconciliation, preparation of reports and correspondence, ordering supplies, processing invoices and SES sheets, preparing expense statements, and making meeting arrangements.
• Assisting with assigning, monitoring and updating meter reading routes, office orders, service orders and delinquent orders via various computer applications.
• Monitoring and completing follow-up tasks noted on customer accounts.
• Reviewing and taking necessary action on various meter reading reports relating to meter sets/changes as well as other various Fieldnet reports requiring action.
• Reviewing and taking necessary action on key control activities and initiating customer contact as necessary to schedule readings, provide access, etc.
• Updates system to reflect meter reader availability.
• Prioritizing, dispatching and assigning work to field employees as directed by supervisors.
• Supports and assists other Administrative Assistants as needed and determined by business demands.
• Assisting in storm restoration support.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED. Possess 2-4 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or other equivalent position.
• Must pass the Company's EEI Support and Administrative Selection System (SASS) test.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must demonstrate a questioning attitude to learn, produce results, and develop relationships.
• Must demonstrate the ability to learn the rules and regulations governing electric utilities in the applicable jurisdictions, especially provisions related to meter reading, billing and collection procedures.
• Must have ability to follow established element practices, procedures, and instructions, and produce basic administrative work products in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
• Must have sound verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have ability to work effectively in a team environment.
