The responsibility of this position is to answer questions from a variety of law department team members and other lines of business, and to upload and route incoming service documents as follows: Read and interpret pleadings and correspondence to determine key words necessary to upload the document into CSC Navigator, a web-based system, using proficient data entry skills. Then, depending on the document, research using multiple systems of record and online resources to identify the correct contact or line of business to assign the document to. Based on over 1,300 routing rules you will be extremely proficient in Excel as you locate the correct rule and assign the matter to the appropriate group on CSC Navigator. The Service of Process Team researches and routes a variety of documents including but not limited to garnishments, subpoenas, foreclosures, litigation and a variety of property notices.
You will need a high concentration on identifying and responding to numerous risk factors while processing service. This includes the ability to identify potential risk incurred, based on the routing history of a given document, or questions asked by lines of business, or other potential factors.
