JOB SUMMARY
Provides support to attorneys overseeing consumer complaints received from state and federal regulatory agencies. Assists with tracking and drafting responses to regulatory agencies.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience

Coordinate timely investigation and response to consumer complaints about Charter services initiated by subscribers and brought to Charter by state and federal regulatory agencies

Solicit, compile and archive date and case material collected from external and internal sources related to investigations, data requests and letters of inquiry from federal and state agencies

Serve as liaison between regulatory team and internal/external clients, and state and federal regulatory agencies

Coordinate the creation and maintenance of reports reflecting ongoing regulatory complaints

Obtains, organizes, and serves as point of contact for complaint responses and for other projects, as needed

Resolves routine corporate legal issues under direction of supervising attorney(s)

Knowledge of proper complaint filing process for federal and state regulatory agencies and willingness to timely file completed responses, as needed

Assist attorneys with other projects as they arise

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's degree in business or legal studies, Paralegal certification in a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Related Work Experience
8 plus years of paralegal or equivalent work experience in responding to customer complaints, or related field.

Special Skills
This position is analytical and requires excellent communicative, organizational, database management, interpersonal, writing and proofreading skills.

Successful candidate will be able to oversee and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously within multiple state jurisdictions, work independently as well as with others, perform with a high degree of accuracy under deadlines and possess a willingness to learn.
