Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a Patient Account Representative position immediately in Duluth, MN. This is a full-time, temporary opportunity looking to last through the end of the year. As a Patient Account Representative you will be responsible for processing and resolution of all insurance and private party billing and following up with insurance payers on insurance claims in an accurate and timely manner. Responsibilities for this Patient Account Representative position include:

  • -Answering inbound calls from customers

  • -Collection and/or resolution of any balances remaining after insurance and private party billing and collection is complete

  • -Following through on all customer questions and complaints to resolution

  • -Providing a high level of customer service to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others



  • Qualifications:

  • -Minimum 2 years customer service experience which preferably includes call center/collections experience

  • -Minimum 1 year healthcare related billing experience

  • -Excellent customer service skills

  • -Proficient with computer software applications

  • -Strong typing abilities

  • -Strong ability to organize and prioritize work and to work with minimum supervision



  • This is a full-time opportunity for 40 hours per week. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Compensation is $12 per hour.
