Medical City North Hills Telemetry Technician Full-time, nights - Rotating Weekends
Medical City North Hills is licensed for 164 beds and is fully accredited by the Joint Commission. North Hills also has Disease Specific Certification by the Joint Commission for hip, knee, shoulder and cardiac service lines and we are a designated Level IV trauma center. Position Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Critical Care Services and in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local regulations and accrediting agencies, the patient care technician maintains a high level of quality work, assists in collection of blood samples, performs EKG testing, accurately records, copies, charts and files results, provides clerical assistance including but not limited to stamping of patients paperwork with the appropriate addressograph, putting charts in hard binders, answering of the telephone, placing calls to physicians offices as well as other medical facilities as indicated by nursing staff members, obtain lab results from computer. Performs specific non-licensed or non-professional duties of patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse. Perform other duties as assigned
The North Hills Hospital staff member can expect to care for adult patients, including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patients from newborn through adolescence. - Licensure/ Certification/ Registration: CNA or PCT certification preferred. BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
- Experience: One year experience as a CNA in a critical care environment preferred.
