Located in Emmett, Idaho Responsibilities - Deliver assistance to payroll with internal and external audits - Maintain all updates of payroll records by tracking changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers - Offer proper review and verification of source documents - Miscellaneous duties as assigned - Providing payroll information by answering questions and requests - Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages as part of report preparation - Handle reconciliation of employee deductions and other relevant liabilities - Maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential - Handle payroll discrepancies through information collection and analysis - Prepare for department heads relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports - Continue implementation of established policies and procedures to maintain payroll operations, reporting changes where necessary - Using federal and state regulations and guidelines, ensure company compliance - Exercise of proper data management by collecting, calculating, and entering payroll data - Determining payroll liabilities by calculating employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payments
