Do you have some experience with payroll and want to expand your skills? Portland Construction Company is seeking an organized Payroll Clerk with a team player attitude. This is position is accountable for payroll entries, processing, and audits as well as personnel records maintenance and compliance. The Payroll Clerk is also responsible for delivering effective communications and service delivery including responding to phone calls, and email inquiries related to timesheets, payroll, benefits, policy, and other payroll related matters. • Processing and reconciling payroll adjustments and timesheets • Collecting and reviewing time sheets for accuracy and verifying schedules • Maintenance of spreadsheets and reports • Maintenance of payroll and time-clock systems • Calculate bonuses and commissions when appropriate • Respond to employee questions and inquiries • Participate in employee payroll training sessions and workshops • Special analyses, projects and other related duties as requested
