A well respected local healthcare provider is seeking a temporary Payroll Specialist to assist in processing data for the company's payroll needs for the next several weeks. This role will likely be part time. The successful candidate will possess initiative and drive, have ADP Workforce payroll and general business knowledge and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating and entering data. Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and other duties/special projects as requested. Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages. Reconciles Benefit insurance billing. Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests. Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
