General Summary: Essential Duties Responsibilities: • Collecting and entering daily timecards • Checking with supervisors on any discrepancies • Set-up employees into the system • Preparing payroll reports as needed • Is responsible for compliance with wage-hour regulations as they affect the employees • Compiles payroll data such as hours worked, taxes, insurance deductions, loan payments, garnishments and other required withholdings • Poll electronic time clocks and review the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy • Prepares computer input forms, enters data into computer files, or computes wages and deductions and posts to payroll records • Processes weekly and semi-monthly payroll • Processes timesheets for agency employees and payments of all invoices • Reviews wages computed and corrects errors to ensure accuracy of payroll • Records changes affecting net wages such as exemptions, insurance coverage, and loan or advance payments for each employee to update master payroll records • Records data concerning transfer of employees between departments • Maintain and track all vacation, sick and holiday leave and related pay for all employees • Answer routine employee questions regarding payroll issues • Prepare and issue paychecks • Maintain all employee files and related information • Keep all filing up to date • Manages and maintains all required trainings and drills, training records, certifications, etc. for all employees, updates ADP information as applicable and as soon as security restrictions are properly set-up on ADP. • Supports HR / Payroll documentation, safekeeping and housekeeping of sensitive employee information, follow-ups and other related tasks in partnership with HR/Payroll Manager.
