The People Experience UX Analyst focuses on enhancing experiences by making our internal sites and resources easier to use and understand. Making content, processes, and experiences simpler and more user-focused, while optimizing self-service within our systems.

There are three main aspects to this role:

1. Content Development

  • Understand needs of customers & partners
  • Utilize data to help develop the best possible content
  • Recognize industry trends and best practices
  • Consult with HR groups and partner to deliver effective and efficient solutions
  • Develop diverse types of content: pages, infographics, motion graphics, videos, etc.

2. Process Improvement

  • Utilize data to understand opportunities for improvement
  • Create user sessions to understand the needs of customers and partners
  • Utilize 6 Sigma or other effective methodology to manage improvements
  • Inform stakeholders of progress regularly

3. Operational Problem Solving & Support

  • Manage customer questions, issues, & problems
  • Ensure governance of processes and procedures are up to date
  • Keep content on all HR systems fresh and relevant
  • Be a key contributor to the sprint process and execution
  • Understand and action feedback

This role will work across multiple systems; Workday, Salesforce, People Central, Silkroad and many other key HR systems. One of the overarching goals of this team is to create the best user experience possible across all HR systems. Making systems seamless, friction free, and consumer ready.

The People Experience UX Team exists to design and create innovative people experiences to help employees thrive throughout their eBay journey. The way we do this is by listening to employees. Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong interest and capabilities in the design and development of engaging user experiences. They will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience partnering with users and conducting usability/user labs
  • Strong conceptualization, visual communication
  • Exceptional design skills, production value, and attention to detail
  • Ability to create wireframes
  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Fireworks and associated design tools preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred
  • Experience working with customers and resolving issues with strong customer focus
  • Experience and working knowledge of Workday, People Central, Silkroad preferred
  • Ability to create effective Multimedia

This position could also be filled in Dublin, Ireland.
