This strategy position has responsibility over the Cash to Invest business process. Objectives are to support sales to position up-sell solutions into the install base, keep track of market trends and customer requests in core industries to drive roadmap. Activities are primarily external facing with the support of sales objectives, interfacing with customers to drive future roadmap and improvements. Internal activities include liaising with industry teams, development and other virtual teams to provide the business expertise needed in the development cycle and specific customer interactions and feedback. Candidates must have a good knowledge of PeopleSoft Financials with its architecture and differentiating positions. PeopleSoft Financials 9.1/9.2 knowledge/experience is preferred. Candidates should have excellent knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Position : IC4 PeopleSoft Principal Product Manager

Job description: This strategy position has responsibility over the Cash to Invest business process. Objectives are to support sales to position up-sell solutions into the install base, keep track of market trends and customer requests in core industries to drive roadmap for net new and support of maintenance revenue. Activities are primarily external facing with the support of sales objectives, interfacing with customers to drive future roadmap and sustain maintenance revenue. Internal activities include liaising with industry teams, development and other virtual teams to provide the business expertise needed in the development cycle and specific customer escalations that impact product direction and revenue targets.

This is in line with the current structure of Financials Strategy. We need coverage around the major business processes of Cash to Invest and includes coordinated efforts with other teams within procure to pay as well as credit to cash processes.

Activities:
External Facing

o Support Sales Deals
• Customer Meetings and Questions for deal closures
• Understand and articulate direction and roadmap for Cash to Invest business process with coordination with the full procure-to-pay business process
• Review, update and approve RFP Scrubs for all deals as needed.
• Train field resources (ASMs, SCs, OCS)
• Maintain contact with the field / consulting

o Conferences & Customers
• Conferences - Travel accounts for about 25% (OOW, Collaborate, Alliance, HIUG, Reconnect and Other Regional Meetings as necessary)
• Participate in User Group calls (HEUG, HIUG, PSUG)
• Provide Roadmap message in appropriate manner to customer base.

o Support Global Support team for Customer Escalations
• Extensive support from product management for large PeopleSoft base.
• Escalations impact product direction requiring strategy decisions
• Communication with customers

Internal Facing
o Understand and have information regarding PeopleSoft Customer base / PeopleSoft license and maintenance revenue/trends

o Define roadmap and priorities for target industries with focus on expanding license revenue and maintaining customer base maintenance revenue.

o Work with Procurement team to represent PeopleSoft Customers and insure proper communication to the field and the customer base.

o Prepare for and work with CAB customers to validate roadmap, requirements and designs as the development lifecycle progresses.

o Work with Oracle partners to support upgrade and implementation initiatives for the core and up-sell products.

o Release Collateral & Documentation
• Participate in such as press releases and other communications.
• Work with customers to gather requirements for new initiatives
• Write requirements for new features
• Review detail requirements from development
• Work with other Oracle teams to build valuable integrations into PeopleSoft.

o Participate in Internal Meetings

Qualifications:
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
