Adecco Medical and Science has an opening for a Licensed Clinical Pharmacist in Irvine, CA

This will be a contract position for one of our leading clients in the Managed Care industry.

This position will be responsible for clinical management of client contracts and clinicial products and services:


Stay current with clinical guidelines/literature, HEDIS, STAR, PQA measures to update existing clinical rules, clinical rationale, clinical references, drug code lists & medical code lists
Develop and maintain clinical materials for clinical programs and enhanced MTM as needed
Work cross-functionally within the company and Clinical Services to ensure product compliance with state-specific and federal regulatory requirements
Assist with development of outcomes and cost savings methodology in collaboration with Clinical Analytics and Product Managers as necessary
Provide strategic consultations in response to client requests for new clinical rules and products
Conduct quality assurance review of clinical rules and materials to ensure flawless and timely execution of clinical products



Requirements:

Registered pharmacist with Pharm D - California license must be in good standing
3 years of clinical experience working in managed care setting preferably with clinical intervention programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Up to date clinical skills, technology based knowledge of MS Windows operating Word and Excel; experienced using email systems - MS Outlook preferred.
Attention to details with strong problem-solving skills and excellent follow-ups
Ability to work effectively in team environment and interact with colleagues in a professional and supportive manner
Not encumbered by a non-compete or other contractual obligations resulting from sign-on bonuses, tuition reimbursement, employment contracts or other contractual relationships.

This will be a Contract opportunity with possibility of going permanent.
