Pharmacy Cashier - Part Time

Position Summary:
Join CVS Health Pharmacy in this exciting and dynamic opportunity as a Pharmacy Cashier, where you will deliver top notch customer service to customers. Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, you will handle customer interactions at the check-in/check-out counter. You will interact with the other personnel in the pharmacy in an effort to provide pharmacy services to all customers. This position will require some delivery of medication via walking to the facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Checking customers in and out at the pharmacy counter
  • Working closely with pharmacist and pharmacy technicians to meet customer needs
  • Receiving inbound phone calls
  • Delivering medications to resident apartments within the retirement community
  • Reordering pharmacy inventory as needed
  • Filing pharmacy documents as needed

This part-time position will include shifts Monday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday 9:00am to 2:00pm.

Superb interpersonal and communication skills are needed in order to effectively interact with customers and internal staff. Successful Pharmacy Cashiers will also be detail-oriented and organized. Understanding computers and feeling comfortable navigating through computer systems is also needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Intermediate typing/keyboarding/computer skills

  • Ability to walk from pharmacy to facility to deliver medications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service or retail experience preferred

High school diploma or GED required
