Position Summary:CVS Caremark is seeking a Pharmacy Prescription Claims Reviewer (Pharmacy Audit) in Scottsdale, AZ to review any pharmacy prescriptions submitted through the CVS Caremark claims processing systems.
The Pharmacy Auditor will identify and rectify claims inaccuracies that would result in client over-payment .
Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Auditor include:
• Contact pharmacies for proper documentation or re-submission of inaccurate claims information in a timely manner
• Monitor assigned clients and report status on a regular basis
• Work closely with internal and external customers to directly impact departmental success
A Pharmacy Technician certification must be obtained within first year of employment.Required Qualifications:- 1 or more years of professional work experience, preferably in a pharmacy or retail pharmacy role
Preferred Qualifications:*Pharmacy Experience preferred
*Knowledge of PBM claims processing systems
*Excellent communication skills
*Ability to work and make decisions independently with a self-starter mentality
*Knowledge of LTC and PBM industries Education:Verifiable high school diploma or GED required. Business Overview:
