Position Summary:
CVS Health offers a comprehensive internship program designed to engage students, impart valuable skills, and offer insight into a potential career path with a Fortune 12 company. During the 10 week engagement interns will be in a supportive learning environment contributing both independently and on a team against key department initiatives. Competitive compensation is offered including a stipend for eligible candidates.

This internship will be working withthe Specialty Clinical Innovation business unit. We are focused on identifying,prioritizing, and introducing new tools and technology to support thesignificant growth and focus with specialty medications. Our goals are toimprove patient's experience, improve clinical outcomes control drug spendtrend, and grow market share of the specialty business. Our team's function isa critical component of our business because by 2018, at least 50% of the drugspend will be attributable to specialty medications.

As our Pharmacy Intern, you will useyour therapeutic knowledge to support a clinical therapy (e.g., HIV, Oncology,Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension) where amount spent on drugs per patient canequal or exceed $300,000.00 per year. You will assume responsibility for workstreams within the pilot testing in collaboration with our digital team.Additionally, you will be required to develop strong acumen of the conditionassociated with the pilot (e.g., multiple sclerosis).

Required Qualifications:
- Availability to work full time for duration of the 10
week program
- Pharmacy Tech
- Ability to communicate
- Outgoing personality with good interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previously speciality pharmacy experience
- Strong computer skills

Education:
Candidates must be enrolled in a pharmacy school in their 3 rd year (Grad Yr – 2020) or 4th year (Grad Yr – 2019)
