This internship will be working withthe Specialty Clinical Innovation business unit. We are focused on identifying,prioritizing, and introducing new tools and technology to support thesignificant growth and focus with specialty medications. Our goals are toimprove patient's experience, improve clinical outcomes control drug spendtrend, and grow market share of the specialty business. Our team's function isa critical component of our business because by 2018, at least 50% of the drugspend will be attributable to specialty medications.
As our Pharmacy Intern, you will useyour therapeutic knowledge to support a clinical therapy (e.g., HIV, Oncology,Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension) where amount spent on drugs per patient canequal or exceed $300,000.00 per year. You will assume responsibility for workstreams within the pilot testing in collaboration with our digital team.Additionally, you will be required to develop strong acumen of the conditionassociated with the pilot (e.g., multiple sclerosis). Required Qualifications:
