What We Do
Directly, and through our subsidiaries, Omnicare provides a broad array of pharmacy-related services to long term care facilities and to other customers in the health care environment. While senior care has long been an Omnicare specialty, we also serve other targeted populations.
Job Summary: Manages and directs the Workflow, Extemp, Pre-Pack, Picking, Staging, Automated Dispensing, Purchasing, Inventory, Returns/Credits and Delivery departments toward their primary objectives, by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate leads or supervisors.
•Ensure all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
•Control payroll and courier costs.
•Dispense advice, guidance, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established policies.
•Review operating results of the organization, compare them to established objectives, and take steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results.
•Establish and maintain an effective system of communications throughout the organization.
•Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
•Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.

Minimum (Required) Qualifications: (must be met in order to perform the job at the required level)
· Working knowledge of Microsoft products
· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English languagePreferred Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:
. Previous pharmacy and or supervisory experienced preferred
. Two to four years related experience and/or training in long term care pharmacy environment.
. Applicants should be well organized and have great time management skills and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
. Great people management skills and process management is a must.
Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this role.
