Pharmacy Representative - Specialty Mail

Position Summary:
Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Services Representative in our Specialty Mail Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Representative you will be responsible for taking inbound calls from and placing outbound calls to patients, physicians and/or payers to obtain prescription refill orders and information regarding changes in benefits and/or insurance. You will assist other patient services staff members with answering phones, triaging calls, filing and other administrative support activities.

Additional responsibilities may include interacting with members who may have serious chronic conditions and remaining sensitive to their needs and entering accurate information into a multi-screen computer application. You will be required to perform exceptionally while working in a fast paced, high volume environment.

Open availability is required during the hours of operation: Monday - Friday, 7:30am- 7:30pm

Required Qualifications:
At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare related role
At least 2 years of experience in customer service

Preferred Qualifications:
At least 1 year experience working in a pharmacy setting
At least 1 year of experience utilizing Microsoft based applications, including Excel
Strong customer service skills.
Strong data entry skills and ability to multi-task

Verifiable high school diploma or GED is required
