Exciting job opportunity for a part time Pharmacy Technician in Poughkeepsie, NY!
Performs all unit dose medication packaging according to ROBOT-Rx Daily Repackaging reports as applicable. Maintains all ROBOT-Rx/ Non-ROBOT online and offline inventories by utilizing appropriate reporting. Performs daily maintenance and necessary routine adjustments on the packager equipment. Assists pharmacy buyer with reordering required medication for packaging as applicable. Maintains and orders appropriate packaging supplies to support the packaging process. Distributes Daily Performance Summary and Packaging Log Summary to PakPlus-Rx Supervisor on a daily basis as applicable. Provides necessary on-site information to Supervisor on ROBOT-Rx performance and other key issues. Responsible for packaging all unit dose medications required for ROBOT-Rx/Non-ROBOT daily dispensing. Prepares and maintains the packager equipment for daily use, Performs general equipment troubleshooting, maintains ROBOT-Rx online and offline inventories, and identifies any customer concerns to the Supervisor of the PakPlus-Rx Program.
This is an on call/as needed position. There are no set hours or schedule but hours are normally during the day on weekdays. Pay is $14.00/hr.
Pharmacy Technician Job Requirements:
High School Diploma
2-3 years of Pharmacy Tech experience
Must be a registered Pharmacy Tech in the state of NY.
