Position Summary: Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the pharmacy to excel in a complex, high impact dispensing role and positively impact the lives of others. As a Pharmacy Technician working in the backend of the pharmacy, you would be responsible for all aspects of the filling of mail order prescriptions. You get to manually fill, canister fill and channel fill for the automated machines. As a backend Pharmacy Technician, you get work directly with the medication and the filing of automated machines.
It’s critical that you are know how to use a 10 key pad and can lift 25 pounds. As a Pharmacy Technician in the backend you will be standing for the length of your shift. Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of staff is also required.
This is a 2nd shift position and second shift operates from Sunday through Friday from 2:00pm to 12:30am except on Friday which operates from 2:00pm to 11:30pm. Actual work days and hours to be determined based on staffing and volume and confirmed at the time when an offer is presented to a qualified candidate.

Must be able to provide proof of a testing date for the National Pharmacy Technician Exam (PTCB or ExCPT) before your first day of employment.
Must complete and pass the Virtual Job Tryout.
Preferred Qualifications: Formal Pharmacy Technician training.
