The Pharmacy Technician I (certified) provides technical support within the pharmacy and assists in the total quality management of the distributive functions of the pharmacy in compliance with department policies and state and federal regulations and under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Required: Six month customer service work experience
Preferred: Six month experience as a hospital pharmacy technician
Required: Registration in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy or as a pharmacist- intern participating in a board-approved internship program. ACPE-approved certification in sterile product preparation
