Position Summary:
Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician in the mail order pharmacy to excel in a complex, high impact role and positively impact the lives of others.

As a Front End Pharmacy Technician you will be empowered to
partner with the pharmacists and route questionable prescriptions for
resolution or put on your thinking cap and solve escalated prescription issues.
These roles require being detailed oriented, utilizing and sharpening your
accuracy and efficiency in reading and interpreting prescriptions. In addition,
these roles require solution-driven individuals with excellent problem solving
skills, strengthening your data entry skills, which will have a positive impact
on the pharmacy workflow in a fast-paced environment. Our Technicians will get
to work closely with internal departments to ensure resolution of each issue
for a positive customer experience. The most successful Pharmacy Technicians
possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus,
team orientation and problem solving abilities.


Other responsibilities include but are not limited
to:

E-faxing

Working with basic computer programs

Communicating with physician’s offices



Understanding pharmaceutical calculations, laws and terminology will aid in
your success as a Pharmacy Technician.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 months of Pharmacy Technician experience in a Retail or Mail Order
pharmacy setting.











Preferred Qualifications:
National
Certification (CPhT) is preferred, but not required.

Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

Ability to positively deal with changes and promote a positive work
environment.

Basic knowledge and understanding of pharmacy workflow.

Strong problem solving skills and the ability to think globally.

Comfortable working in a fast paced, team oriented environment.

Availability Monday - Friday, 8:30a-5pm; rotating weekends.

Education:
High School Diploma or General
Education Degree (GED).
