Position Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians to excel in a complex, team-oriented environment while having the opportunity to develop and strengthen technical skills and pharmacology knowledge.

You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting and entering prescriptions into our system. Our technicians are empowered to route questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification, and must also be able to enter incomplete prescription information once clarification has been obtained. To help support development and maximize workflow, technicians may be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required.

Required Qualifications:
Current Pharmacy Technician Registration or Texas Trainee license with the Texas Board of Pharmacy is required.
Must be able to read and interpret prescription terminology and medications.
At least 6 months of previous pharmacy technician experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:
6+ months mail order or retail pharmacy experience, strongly preferred.

Education:
Education High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
