This is an exciting chance for Pharmacy Technicians to excel in a complex, team-oriented environment while having the opportunity to develop and strengthen technical skills and pharmacology knowledge.
You would be responsible for accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting and entering prescriptions into our system. As a Prescription Entry Pharmacy Technician at our Mail Order pharmacy in Phoenix, you will direct questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification, and enter incomplete prescription information once clarification has been obtained. To help support development and maximize workflow, you may be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required.
This position has the opportunity to become work from home once new hire phase is complete and eligibility criteria are met, but initially the schedule will be Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 6:00pm and 1 Saturday every 8 weeks, 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Current Pharmacy Technician Registration or Arizona Trainee license with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy is required.
At least 6 months of previous pharmacy technician experience.
Must be able to read and interpret prescription terminology and medications.
Excellent keyboarding skills while maintaining 100% accuracy.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Preferred Qualifications:
Previous mail order or retail pharmacy experience, highly preferred, but not required.
Ability to read and interpret prescription terminology and medications. Education:
