Corpus Christi Medical Center is currently looking for a Phlebotomist.


Responsibilities:
  • Using established guidelines; safely, accurately and courteously collect blood specimens required for each patient.
  • Represents laboratory in patient encounters.
  • Gathers and sorts incoming workload.
  • Receives specimens as they arrive in lab.
  • Disperses received specimens to correct departments.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • A year of previous experience preferred.
  • Phlebotomy license within a 1 year of hire.
  • Must be able to exhibit ability to collect samples from every age group with skill.
  • Basic computer skills and communication ability needed.
