A Physical Therapist job in Hornell NY is available courtesy of Adecco Medical & Science. You must have a Bachelors' Degree in Physical Therapy to be considered for this position. Physical Therapist job responsibilities include:
Recommends additional consult as appropriate (e.g. occupational therapy, speech consult, orthotic/prosthetic) and document such in the patient chart
Develops and implements treatment plan including appropriate short and long term goals
Actively participates in rehabilitation team efforts to meet patient's needs, including, but not limited to counseling and teaching patients and their families, discussing changes and treatment programs with physicians, coordinating healthcare plans with other involved health professions
Carries out routine operational functions including supervision of physical therapy aides
Assists with the supervision and guidance of new personnel, students and volunteers as assigned. Reports progress or problems as appropriate
Is responsible for ensuring patient/resident/client safety with a focus on making safety-driven decisions
Minimum of a Bachelors' Degree in Physical Therapy
Minimum of three - six years' required experience
