Physical Therapist PRN Days and Weekends NICU experience highly preferred or willing to train
Employee will provide direct patient care by continuously evaluating, developing a treatment plan and conducting appropriate physical therapy management to meet the individual needs of medically referred population including NICU, adult, and geriatrics in an efficient, productive manner within the guidelines of the Physical Therapy Practice Act and the American Physical Therapy Association's Standards for Practice and Code of Ethics. To take all appropriate measures to ensure the safety of the patients. To maintain accurate, current records on all patients according to the department's policy and procedures. To supervise support staff and other departmental staff as it relates to patient care. To participate in the quality improvement process and in updating programs and/or development of new programs.Qualifications: Education/Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Must be knowledgeable for safe patient care in an acute setting.
- Full time therapist expected to be competent with NICU within 6 months of hire date
Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications
- Acute care experience and/or NICU experience preferred. Willing to train in NICU.
- Active and current TX PT license.
- Current BLS
