Physical Therapist Assistant PRN
Work Schedule/Staffing Needs: Successful candidate will be available to help with weekend coverage, vacation coverage and high volume surgery months.
Interest/experience in acute care physical therapy preferred.
The position is accountable for providing physical therapy services to patients in accordance with an outlined treatment plan as prepared by a physical therapist. The position generally works with patients to help them gain greater safety and independence with function and mobility. Interacts with patients on an individual or group basis and as a member of the treatment team. Patient services are coordinated with other staff members and physicians
* Employee must be licensed in the state of Utah as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
* Requires completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program resulting in at least an Associate's Degree.
* 1 year of related work experience in an acute care setting is preferred, but not required.
