Adecco Direct Placement is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a Direct Hire Plant Manager Job in Erie, PA for our client, a growing, precision machining company working with close tolerances. This is a newly created position due to growth at the company and reports directly to the Plant General Manager. The Plant Manager is responsible for overall operations of the company including P & L management, organizational development, costing, manufacturing, and customer satisfaction. Ideally, we seek candidates that started their career in Machining and steadily grew from a Machining position to production supervision and on to plant management. Experience with Quality inspection, NADCAP and ISO9002/AS9000 experience is also strong desired. Our client offers a competitive salary between $90,000 and $105,000 based on experience level. Responsibilities for the Plant Manager Job in Erie, PA:
Ensures Business Plan, sales and marketing and customer satisfaction goals are met or exceeded.
Assist corporate General Manager in setting business plan strategy.
Assure assets and people are in place to execute business opportunities.
Assure customer and industry standards are met or exceeded in terms of quality and delivery.
Prepare analysis to achieve board approval for capital needed for product development, manufacturing and administrative
Bachelor's Degree or higher in business or science related field.
Must have ten years or more years of industrial management experience in a broad array of positions in the close-tolerance machining industry, including operations, quality, sales, etc.
Must have small shop supervision of 30 or more work force
Must have experience working with metal machining (CNC Machining, Programming, etc.)
