We are seeking a motivated individual to become a Plant Operator to join our team in St Louis, Missouri.

JOB SUMMARY: Sorts and preforms prefill inspection of empty cylinders being received by filling plant for refill.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identifies, sorts, and prioritizes cylinders based on a daily production plan.


  • S afely loads / unloads compressed gas and liquid cylinders to and from shuttle vehicles.

  • Completes prefill inspection for daily production plans in accordance with Med Gas Manuals 1-5.

  • Reports any cylinder shortages or inventory discrepancies to supervisor.

  • Preforms daily housekeeping and contributes as directed to end of day shutdown procedures.

  • Removes labels, lot stickers, washes, paints, and preforms basic maintenance on cylinders as required.

  • Complies with all state and federal laws, regulations, and safety procedures.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school degree or the equivalent and one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
