Job Summary: Senior level job responsible for processing the most complex policy changes, options, issues/reissues and conversions on existing life policies. Provides customer service to sales producers, agency staff, and other Life New Business departments. Acts in lead capacity by providing guidance to less experienced associates.
Functional Responsibilities: Performs all duties of the Policy Change Specialist III. Processes all contractual changes and term conversions within designated service level agreement (SLA). Reviews and processes the most complex, high profile or specialized change/ exchange cases, including cases referred from less experienced associates. Performs all related accounting transactions including clearing money from the General Suspense and Policy Suspense Accounts. Serves as a primary contact to the field sales agencies for questions relating to policy change, exchange or conversions. Explains decisions made on policy changes, and provides supportive documentation. Acts in a lead capacity by providing direction on workflow and processing procedures. Monitors work from other associates, and provide back-up coverage. Performs other related responsibilities as required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Provides work direction to less experienced staff members.
Typical Experience: High school graduate or equivalent related experience. Minimum experience: 4-6 years.
