Pr. Coordinator, Collateral Boarding and Monitoring- Laurel, MD

The Principal Operations Coordinator is responsible for reviewing/releasing collateral and related documents for consumer, commercial and small business loans. The incumbent will:

  • Provide information to internal and external  clients
  • Identify, research, solve and/or respond to requests inquiries and problem situations in a timely manner
  • Review loan documentation to appropriately input collateral, document and related party data into loan accounting systems
  • Perform follow-up on outstanding documents and expectations, to include verifying original documentation and document recordation
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes to increase control and efficiency

  • perform their duties with limited supervision and have few errors
  • have excellent organizational and time management skills
  • possess excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with borrowers and all levels of Bank management
  • be self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Degree, GED or equivalent certification or military experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in a financial institution handling collateral, documenting loans and/or working in loan operation
  • Knowledge of lien perfection and release processes, including real estate and UCC
  • Knowledge of commercial and small business loan accounting systems, such as ACBS or ALS
