This position is responsible for coordinating the program administration of STEM Educational Programing across grades K-12 including; representing the programing at educational conferences, monitoring curriculum/classroom materials usage, support teacher professional development sessions, supporting office logistics and event planning. The position is also responsible for serving as the point of contact for classroom teachers, volunteers, vendors and internal staff.
-Manage programmatic logistics including, but not limited to; establishing open communications with classroom teachers and volunteers, serving as the point of contact for national/regional education conference participation, coordinating public-facing informational resources and business collateral.
-Manage the pre-college program usage through classroom inventory support, supporting teacher professional development sessions, managing the curriculum/materials ordering process and executing the materials shipping processes. This position is also responsible for supporting the inventory/purchasing process.
-Manage internal/external communications including, but not limited to; overseeing the pre-college helpdesk email and curriculum/materials order process.
-Contribute to the achievement of organizational goals, Execute supervisor/self-constructed Personal Development Plan and additional duties/projects as assigned.
-Travel is 30% will go to the events, heaviest travel through school year, could be a trip a month or so and will travel with the team.
RequirementsIdeal Bachelors Degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, related field
will consider Associates Degree
� Classroom-based teaching experience, desired
� Three years of equivalent event/business planning experience, required
� Or an Associates degree in Business or related field and up to five years of equivalent event planning experience, required
� Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills
� Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
� Ability to train volunteers and staff on assignments and delegate to responsible and appropriate persons.
� Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
� Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office required, Microsoft Publisher, CMS, Impromptu, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Acrobat, desired
� Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
� Ability to work effectively and cooperate with other employees
