Microsoft Services is looking for a strong technical resource to join our team as a Premier Field Engineer (PFE).



You will be responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption and support of Windows client deployments. You will be working with customers and partners building, deploying, operating and optimizing large complex enterprise environments. The primary solution focus and responsibility will pertain to support of Microsoft's technologies with specific emphasis in the following areas: -Microsoft Windows 10 and other Windows Client operating systems. As a PFE, you will provide product and solution support and training, both onsite and remote. You should be customer focused, able to devise and implement action plans and be able to communicate clearly with both internal partners and customers. You also have a flexible work schedule that may include weekends, evenings, and holidays.



This position is intended to be on-site with various customers and may require up to 50% availability to travel. You should live within commutable distance a metropolitan area/airport on the east coast.



Key Experience needed: 5 years professional experience implementing, deploying and solving problems related to Windows Client Operating Systems using current deployment tools.



A sound understanding of related technologies including System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Active Directory, BitLocker, Windows Image and Configuration Designer and the User State Migration Tool.



-Experience building and maintaining desktop and server images, producing and employing Group Policy Objects to handle the environment, and how to deploy images and applications using multiple methodologies, such as SCCM, MDT, WADK, WDS, etc. using Zero Touch or Lite Touch capabilities. PowerShell scripting experience



Primary responsibilities include: Providing on-site and remote technical support solutions for customer service delivery and availability, while ensuring satisfaction with Microsoft Windows deployments. Be capable of providing field technical support presence for groups in the Microsoft Services organization, including but not limited to Premier Support and Microsoft Consulting Services. Act as the primary onsite technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical support and problem resolution for corporate customers, including issues raised to the highest levels of management. Skills for this position include: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications, analytical and presentation skills. Ability to deliver presentations, discuss Microsoft products at a solutions level.



Ability to handle customer critical issues and work in difficult situations.



Ability to perform self-directed learning in a rapidly changing environment Capabilities to operate in a flexible team environment with minimal supervision Overnight travel is required.



Travel requirements vary regionally and could be as much as 50% Education/Certifications: Microsoft Devices or Mobility certification strongly preferred.
