Qualifications
 High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
 Some kitchen or food service experience is helpful, but not required.
 Professional communication skills are required.
 Enthusiasm and interest in cooking and a desire to learn more.
 Ability to use company communication tools such as email and online timekeeping systems.
 Candidates with a food handler's permit will be given priority.
 Familiarity with basic computer skills; ability to learn and use new software
 Responsibilities:
 Prepare food such as; chopping vegetables, making salads and putting together simple entrees and side dishes.
 Learns and adheres to the designated cooking methods to assist in preparing the appropriate menu items consistently.
 Strive to learn to improve cooking skills and expands knowledge about food products and techniques.
 Ensure that food is properly stored and helps keep storage areas orderly.
 Perform kitchen maintenance; emptying the trash, mopping floors and washing dishes.
 Assist with cleaning, sanitizing and organizing the kitchen, dining areas, reach-in coolers and all storage areas.
 Perform additional responsibilities as requested by our team of Chefs.
