This is a highly visible, hands-on role that is responsible for the evaluation, development and implementation of pricing strategies based on the current business and competitive environment. The Consultant, Pricing Manager will conduct research and perform competitive pricing and trend analysis. This role will develop and maintain a competitive pricing database designed to support pricing information decisions. Analysis will be performed on customer price sensitivity and elasticity. Additionally, this role will work closely with Product Marketing leaders, Sales, Development and Finance on setting prices, testing pricing strategies, and determining go-to-market pricing on new product launches.
+ Oversee pricing activity and strategy across all RSA product lines:
+ Consult on SaaS, subscription, and perpetual product license strategies
+ Design and maintain discount floor policy, channel discount structures, and other Go-to-Market practices
+ Manage pricing committee
+ Integrate and manage the development and delivery of creative, competitive, compelling & compliant pricing strategies and tools.
+ Manage development and deployment of pricing policies, operational standards and standardized financial models and tools - looks for ways to develop and leverage these.
+ Generate awareness and expertise of competitive/industry standard benchmark financial metrics & models for pricing.
+ Use business knowledge, including product knowledge to holistically understand and develop pricing.

**Critical Hiring Criteria:**
Required Experience and Skills:
+ 10+ years of relevant B2B enterprise pricing experience.
+ At least 2-4 years experience gained working directly in the security market, preferred.
+ Requires a BS/BA or other advanced degree.
+ Proven history of having delivered pricing strategies and models that were effective in market.
+ Successful expert who has created and executed global pricing strategies.
+ Relationship builder; dynamic, proactive, respected; good listener; values input and stimulates candid dialogue; positive attitude and a sense of humor
+ Experience working across a matrixed organization
+ Strong math and problem solving skills.
