Oracle Application Labs influences the direction and strategy for Oracle's products through collaborative and often pioneering involvement in business applications.
Are you passionate about implementing complex, cross functions solutions (spanning multiple modules) on Java/J2EE technologies? Essential Functions:

• Partner with the business team to understand their business requirements; translate these business requirements into functional/technical design.
• Implement complex cross functional solutions that are high performing and with excellent quality

Desired Industry Experience:

• Overall experience of at least 5 to 8 years in enterprise application development using Java, hibernate, JUnit, JPA, ADF, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Experience in implementing REST and SOAP based web services is a plus.
• Background / Experience in financial domain is a significant plus
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Education and Certification:

The ideal candidate will have an MBA, MIS or related graduate degree in computer science.
Work with Oracle*s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle*s global infrastructure.

As a member of the IT organization, assist with the analyze of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
