As part of the SAP Global Project Initiative within Dell’s IT organization, you will work with business resources and development teams throughout the complete project life cycle. Responsibilities will include defining business processes, configuring the application, authoring functional specifications, and planning and performing system testing activities. Other responsibilities will include defect resolution and production support activities.
Must have the ability to effectively prioritize work assignments and work in a team environment. Candidate should possess excellent problem solving skills. Must work under minimal direction and exercise considerable latitude and provide technical expertise in developing business solutions. Must provide work leadership to others and interface with senior management to provide and obtain information to build consensus regarding project direction.
**Principal Duties and Responsibilities:**
‒ Provide business system analysis and functional support for SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and be versed in SAP ECC (ERP Central Component) Sales and Distribution.
‒ Support the business process and information technology needs required by Dell to meet their operational, tactical and strategic objectives.
‒ Execute configuration requests for SAP CRM and related areas.
‒ Assist in gathering, documenting and clarifying business requirements.
‒ Create functional designs using a disciplined application implementation methodology.
‒ Translate system requirements into unit and function test scripts.
‒ Execute unit test scripts, and support function and user acceptance testing.
‒ Provide training to end users and create end-user documentation.
‒ Assist project managers in identifying tasks and developing project plans.
‒ Lead cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver the selected solution.
‒ Assist project managers in the execution of project tasks and communicate issues and status in a timely manner.
‒ Represent IT as the principal technical contact and perform technical project leadership role.
**Required Education and Technical Experience:**
‒ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
‒ 6 to 8 years of related experience and knowledge gained from utilizing system development methods in a global environment.
‒ 6+ years experience customizing and configuring SAP CRM Applications utilizing SAP Application Analysts standards and tools (SAP Solution Manager with ChaRM).
‒ Exposure to and working knowledge of SAP CRM and SAP ECC Sales and Distribution applications with cross-functional experience.
‒ Experience with minimum of two full life cycle SAP implementations.
‒ Experience with SAP tools such as LSMW, SQVI, SQ01, and transport management.
‒ Knowledge of SAP’s technical infrastructure including table definitions, users exits, enhancements, and idocs.
‒ CRM experience should include the following modules: Quotation Management, Sales, and Marketing. Candidate must be extremely strong in pricing within SAP ECC and SAP CRM.
‒ Ideally the candidate will also have experience in at least one of the following: Vendavo or similar package software, SAP SSC (Solution Sales Configuration), SAP Variant Configuration or Hybris.
‒ Industry experience within high tech or similar Make-to-Order/Assemble-to-Order environment is preferred.
‒ Business analysis experience and ability to write business requirements and functional specifications.
‒ Experience using an implementation methodology for at least 1 full life-cycle implementation.
‒ Willing to work extra hours when required.
‒ Customer focused.
‒ Sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
‒ Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical concepts to business leaders.
