As a Principal Software Developer with Oracle Service Cloud Product Development, you will be a key contributor to an elite development team that is building Oracle's next generation Customer Portal on the LAMP stack. You will have the opportunity to work on the server technology behind a leading Cloud service product while working alongside some really bright and motivated people. The work environment is fun, challenging, and extremely rewarding.

Your ideas and knowledge will help with high-level design and architecture of the product as well as help with the delivery of new syndication frameworks. Additionally, your technical leadership will allow you to take on project leadership, supervisor and mentorship roles within the engineering team.

To be successful in this position you should have:
* Experience in Object Oriented PHP or Java, MySQL, JavaScript, NodeJS, CSS, HTML5, YUI OR Jquery.
*Knowledge of JavaScript framework/libraries like Knockout or RequireJS.
* MVC frameworks like Zend or CodeIgniter.
* Experience in Web Security and Performance.
*BS or MS Degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
*5 years of software engineering or related experience.
Qualifications:
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
