This role requires proven history of developing strategic roadmaps for large-scale programs or software projects. Beyond this, the role includes owning the business KPIs around the Azure Boot Camp, the leader of a team of technical SMEs and experts, as well as very strong working with ambiguity. This role interacts with leaders across all of Microsoft ensuring that your program is cutting edge and helping new engineers succeed quickly in their role. The boot camp new hire training program, targeted at training new Engineers (Software Engineers and Program Managers) working on the Azure platform or our tools/services. You will be collaborating across the company ensuring that course curriculum is relevant, fresh, and always current. You are responsible for the engineers experience at multi-event trainings and ensuring they have their needs met. Using your mastery of influencing others, excellent communication skills, and analytical ability you will participate in the execution of training and a key stakeholder of the future roadmap for the Azure Engineering Boot Camp. The ideal candidate for this role has excellent leadership skills, can multi-task and manage multiple events/projects with minimal supervision, can rapidly context switch on topics and has a deep passion for learning and development and building a great onboarding and learning experience for new hires. As the Program Owner, you'll work with Trainers, Azure SMEs and technical PMs to build to deliver a smooth and flawless training experience for new hires and stakeholders. BS or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience
2+ years building Azure applications
7+ years of Project or Program Management
A strong background of influencing others
4+ years of management of direct reports
7+ years of building and shipping software
Able to execute by working through others, influence without authority, and deal with ambiguity
Proven record of action oriented and self-starter
Proven deep analysis of metric & data
Prior experience in development of, and operations, of training program
Exceptional written, interpersonal and communication skills Excellent cross-group collaboration
