It has never been a more exciting time to be in the Universal Store organization (UST) and on the reseller and partner ecosystem (RPE) team. Every cloud service (1st party or 3rd party), device & software that Microsoft sells to commercial customers that involves partners will flow through our platform. We are delivering innovative features to our partner ecosystem at a fast pace while continuing to extend and mature our platform. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering analytics and insights to commercial partners that empower them to be successful with customers. The role will prioritize and specify investments in data platforms, big data, machine learning, and business intelligence for Microsoft’s Partner Center. You will be responsible for delivering practical applications of modern data, analytics, and AI technologies for key business scenarios. You will interact with Microsoft product teams, researchers, and field operations to bring these features to market. You surface these critical insights in Partner Center UI’s and API’s, emphasizing graphical visualization and ease of use. And your focus will be on making these features enjoyable to use and cool.

We need strong technical leaders who are self-starters, execution-focused and passionate about providing an amazing experience for our partners. Some of the qualities we look for in a candidate include:
Ability to lead change and drive own initiatives: The RPE team is a startup and, by definition, small and agile, so the ability to lead change and deal with ambiguity is a must. We are looking for highly motivated leaders who are interested in taking ownership of their area and running it end-to-end.
Technical mastery: This role requires a person who is well versed in modern analytics, big data, and AI technologies, and has had prior experience with their practical application, including shipping features, and driving adoption.
Experience: Having prior exposure to our commercial partners and how they succeed is a plus. However, raw intelligence and motivation are equally valuable. You should have strong technical skills and the ability to pick up new ideas and concepts quickly.
Cross-team skills: Our team works with many groups, both internal and external, in the course of a week. You will need to work closely with engineering teams, product teams, Microsoft researchers, field operations, and external partner organizations to design solutions and plan roadmaps.
• 10+ years of experience building and shipping software
• At least 5+ years as a program manager
• Practical experience in applying big data, analytics, and AI
• A successful track record leading large cross-divisional scenarios
• Passion for customer and partner business scenarios translating to design impact on the platform
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
