The Fusion Release Engineering team is responsible for all aspects of Build and Integration for Fusion Cloud Services. The FRE Central QA team is responsible for planning, co-ordinating, and facilitating the various quality assurance and testing activities across the division to ensure quality delivery of the Fusion Cloud Services to our customers.
As the program/quality assurance manager in the FRE team, you are responsible for reviewing and understanding the various divisional initiatives, including functional architecture projects, fusion life cycle management projects, fusion middleware projects that are in scope for a Fusion release and identify high-level system testing scope and approach.
You will co-ordinate and interact with Fusion Product Development, Product Management, Functional Architecture,Life Cycle Management, Cloud Services, Fusion Process, Fusion Quality Assurance, Fusion Operations, Fusion Middleware teams to understand the projects, testing requirements, and develop high level plan for system testing, and manage execution of specific projects.
Some key responsibilities include reaching out to project owners to understand projects, facilitating communication to players to bring alignment in the quality assurance and testing of the project, planning for system testing, manage execution of the specific projects, facilitate projects status meetings, writing project status reports, track to release metrics, exit criteria, issue escalation, change management, champion process improvement to bring quality and predictability in the Fusion Releases.
Candidates should have 10 years of project management, software development, quality assurance, program or release management or related experience.
Broad, yet strong background in enterprise software development lifecycle principles, tools and processes.
Ability to quickly pick up new material related to business practices and/or technology.
Ability to collaborate with other teams within and outside organization. Demonstrated experience working in a matrix environment.
Ability to operate effectively with individuals at a variety of levels of seniority.
Ability to deliver on aggressive deadlines and capable of executing to high-level guidance.
Functional background in Fusion, understanding of the various product components and make-up of Fusion is a plus.
Experience in implementing Oracle or any other large complex software is preferred
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem solving skills and be result oriented.
BS/MS in Computer Science/Engineering
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.
Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
