As a part of the Commercial Strategy & Transformation team, this associate will be responsible for delivering, for Commercial Business Risk Office (CBRO), in all phases of project management in to include idea analysis, feasibility, definition, planning, prioritization, implementation and close out of projects that support transformational strategies for Commercial.  The role involves teamwork, communication, negotiating and leading across all levels.  The associate will work with cross functional teams and influence others to work towards a common goal, regardless of resource and time constraints. These projects are to address CBRO project related to OCC Consent Orders, MRA's (Matters Requiring Attention), and audit remediation's related to Operational risk.

· Deliver small projects and/or workstreams in larger projects concurrently in a highly autonomous environment

·Accountable as the project owner and project manager for project completion, scope completion and realizing expected project results

·Design, manage, and execute project plans that deliver on declared business intent and strategy working with business and program leadership to revise to meet changing requirements

·Leverage problem solving skills to identify risks to task completion and partner with business/program lead to ensure project plans deliver on intent.

· Maintain key project documentation, identify and escalate risks, and effectively communicate to drive projects from design to implementation

·Collaborate with partners to understand business problems and focus on bringing issues to resolution, escalating as necessary to meet timelines.Includes clarifying and defining project requirements and business cases.

·Partner with Manager/Program Lead to create and deliver presentations to program management on project goals and plans, (e.g., including progress reports).

·Propose business and technical solutions given a solid understanding of business principles and processes.

·Build relationships and work closely with project and business partners at all levels across Capital One, including:  IT, Operations, Finance and others to deliver a well-managed project.

·Partner with other team members on the overall change management strategy for transformational projects

- At least a Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience

- At least 2 Years Project Management experience
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint

- Masters / MBA degree

- PMP, Lean, Agile certification
