Principal Relationship Manager

The Principal Strategic Relationship Manager (Principal Associate) contributes to the holistic relationship between Mortgage Capital Markets and our internal/external partners to ensure applicable requirements are communicated to internal stakeholders and collectively met through an established process. The Principal Associate is responsible for key aspects of engaging directly with existing and potential relationships, researching specific investor requirements, and driving recurring and initial certification processes. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and have the opportunity to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company.


• Act as a lead in preparation for upcoming audits, exams and investor reviews

• Assist and facilitate remediation of findings resulting from audits, exams and investor reviews

• Act as the liaison between internal/external audit and the leadership teams within the lines of business.

• Validate that artifacts provided by the business sufficiently evidence remediation activity

• Serve as interdepartmental liaison, interfacing with lines of business and staff functions such as Compliance, Legal, and other areas of Risk

• Gather data and reporting; perform initial analysis or potentially evaluate data provided by team analysts 

• Provide feedback to senior leadership on both the process and status of prep and remediation work

• Drive planning and execution activities for certification processes and ad-hoc investor/stakeholder requests

• Partner with internal groups to drive timely completion of key investor related tasks

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree or Military experience

Preferred Qualifications:

-At least 2 years of experience in risk management

-At least 2 years of experience in mortgage

-At least 2 year of experience in project management
