This role is an important supporting role for the global 24/7 SaaS Operations group. Candidates will have a chance to work in a dynamic environment across many product lines and administer technical solutions in hosted data centers and the cloud.
We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual. Candidate must have demonstrated experience and understanding of systems and virtualization concepts, and will need to interface with senior systems staff, NOC, network, storage, DBA teams and application support staff. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering superior results and is able to adapt to the changing priorities in a fast-paced production SaaS environment.
RSA is looking for a rockstar DevOps guru who will work cross-functionally to help implement and operationalize some of the most advanced cloud architectures running on Azure & AWS. The Principal SaaS DevOps Engineer in the Global SaaS Operations group will demonstrate technical depth, strong interpersonal skills and a passion to solve RSA's complex business problems. 

You'll use cloud services to help our engineering teams rapidly deliver RSA's products and services, as well as provide technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications. You will be working within a team of highly skilled professionals, providing fast support for RSA's products, fulfilling day-to-day requests, working on automating tasks, and participating in several larger to small engineering projects. You'll be working in a "SaaS Operations" environment as part of a 24/7 team that requires high personal accountability,  and a readiness to provide support, should any critical issue arise. You will work alongside engineering teams to implement solutions for infrastructure, POCs while helping deliver technical expertise while establishing best practices.

You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within RSA, such as engineering, marketing, support, professional services, as well as executive management.

Roles & Responsibilities
•    Work with various cloud providers ( Azure / AWS) to deploy and run infrastructure used by our SaaS products
•    Building and maintaining technical relationships with influential technical decision makers
•    Building, working, maintaining production applications in multiple areas of the business pipeline
•    Working closely with engineering and other stake holders to make continuous improvements to all fastens of the application lifecycle both dev and production
•    Ensure that SLA for our production and supporting environments is maintained 
•    Continually seek opportunities to improve SLA/Uptime and minimize customer impacts
•    Performing administration to include, installs, upgrades, configurations, tuning and monitoring of RSA's and third-party products.
•    Provide technical expertise and advocacy from SaaS Operations point of view
•    Use judgment to develop and clarify expectations, scope, and scale to achieve shared objectives and minimize redundancy
•    DevOps & Automation: Continuous Integration, Continuous deployment, 
•    Manage several concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders, executing in a matrix environment
•    Provide POC and prototyping as needed

Basic Qualifications
•    7+ years Sr. Level SYSADMIN experience with Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems and cloud platforms: system administration, networking concepts and protocols & programming skills 
•    Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience with Container solutions. Docker, DC/OS, Kubernetes
•    Strong experience with configuration management frameworks such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible
•    Strong experience with web application technology : IIS, Tomcat, Apache, Elasticsearch, nginx, haproxy, etc
•    Exceptional customer service orientation
•    Comfortable working in an environment requiring 24x7 support and being part of a on-call rotation
•    Experience developing strategic and tactical plans to meet operational support strategies, goals and objectives
•    Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to right level the conversation (verbal and written)
•    Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
•    Scripting and automation experience : AWS API, Bash, Python, Shell, PowerShell, Azure REST
Additional Skills Preferred:
•    Hands-on experience with relational database systems (PostgresSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle)
•    Hands-on experience with NoSQL systems (Hadoop, Cassandra, Redis)
•    Technical expertise with security, compliance (e.g. SOC, PCI) and privacy (e.g., Identity, Governance, RBAC) a plus
