Oracle's Market Leadership in EPM
- It is a full time strategic presales consulting role working with Accounting and Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing decision makers and users who are evaluating various Oracle ERP/EPM solutions for their accounting and financial technology needs.
- The right person will be able to effectively speak and engage with these types of professionals (you would be paired with products, clients, and sales teams that mirror your experience) regarding business challenges and technology based solutions.
- Extensive training will be provided on Oracle ERP financials/EPM Cloud software if needed
- As an Oracle ERP financials Solutions Consultant, you will partner directly with the sales team to present and sell Oracle ERP financials Cloud solutions to the client. This is not a quota carrying sales role and does not involve any outbound or inbound sales prospecting, however it does involve the ability to influence decision makers regarding their ERP platform, and the ability to act as an Oracle advocate during client interactions.
- The best solutions consultants have joined us from a variety of backgrounds (accounting & finance practitioners (industry); pre and post sales consulting) and enjoy partnering with clients to help solve business problems via ERP technology.
- 5 years operational accounting and finance, budgeting/planning, and/or hyperion experience is preferred
- A/BS degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent, CPA and/or advanced degree highly desirable
- Experience with any of the following solutions is preferred: Oracle EBS, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, Oracle BI, Workday Financials, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, MSFT BI, Sage ERP, IBM Cognos, Anaplan, Tagetik, Adaptive Insights, Intacct, host analytics, microstrategy, Prophix, jedox, SAP Business Objects, or Infor.

Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed.
