Azure Storage is looking for talented developers who can drive the design, implementation, and validation of hybrid enterprise storage solutions that combine the power of Azure and Windows Server to provide world-class security, privacy, reliability, and performance in a cloud-first, mobile-first world.
You will be in charge with driving innovation in key areas of a service that makes customers’ data available wherever it is needed by applications and end-users: in branch offices, public and private clouds, client devices etc.
Specific responsibilities include driving the Security pillar of the service (security of Azure services is a fundamental table stake, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to this complex and evolving area) as well as architectural design and implementation of other service fundamentals.
You will have an opportunity to research and propose solutions to ambiguous problems, evaluate multiple design options, make hard trade-offs, drive v-teams, implement solid and efficient code, and work cross-group with our partners in Azure and Windows. You will also interact with security experts across the company and impact the security of related services as part of a larger drive to get the Microsoft cloud secure.
• 7 years of experience in developing commercial software in C/C++/C#/.Net
• Experience in development of cloud services
• Storage and file systems experience
• Azure and Windows knowledge
• Security expertise
