We’re looking for a strong engineer like you to join the Office Platform Experience group. As part of the team you are responsible for large impactful areas of the developer experience on Office, and a driver for clear and articulate API’s and SDKs. The team’s charter includes delivering the API’s, SDK’s and tools that developers use to access our rich ecosystem. You will also help to drive the definition, policies and customer experiences for our fast-growing API surface and the platforms that it exposes. You will also evangelize platform across Microsoft and throughout our highly diverse developer audience. You will be one of the key architects of our next platform transition
Basic Qualifications:
• 10+ years of software and/or services development and product delivery experience with proficiency in C/C++, Java or C#/.NET languages.
• BS in computer science
• Extraordinary architectural, design, debugging, testing, data
analysis and problem-solving skills
• Experience in API Development for client and web applications
• The ability to quickly learn new technologies and efficiently
collaborate with partners to deliver excellent results.
• Experience in Web technologies like JavaScript, Typescript,
HTML5, CSS3, React, React-Native, Redux/Flux
• Experience with tools and tool chains like Git, NPM, Bower,
Webpack, other package management systems, Travis CI,
OData services, T4 Templating, and code generators a plus
• Hands-on experience shipping large scale, commercial, online-
software solutions

Additional Skills
• Expertise in Windows Development
• Experience with UWP, Mac, iOS and Android platforms
• Experience with the Office engineering system
