The Cloud has already transformed the way companies build, run and operate their services. The industry is starting to see that companies want to bring mission critical workloads to the cloud, which frequently requires specialized hardware for performance, scale or certification reasons. The Azure Networking Tycoon team is in the middle of learning, integrating and supporting these customers and technologies.

For this role, we’re looking for an extraordinarily strong engineer who has a track record of delivering quality software, a can-do attitude and technical acumen to learn and guide cross-team architectures that make large enterprise customers incredibly happy.

This is an awesome role for engineers that love challenging problems, a dynamic work environment that empowers engineers to focus on solving customer problems that have visibility at the executive level. Just as the project involves working with a diverse set of workloads and hardware, the team values diversity and collaboration in the team.

For context, we’re already seeing the transformational impact the Cloud is having on Cloud providers like Microsoft (pushing for platforms that are secure, reliable, scalable and performant) as well as large corporations (who are moving past the toe in the water phase of Cloud and looking to go all in). The Azure Networking Tycoon team is working across orgs and teams to enable new scenarios for Azure customers to move their specialized mission critical workloads to the Cloud, that leverage technology from partners such as VMWare and Cray.

If you love working with other strong engineers across organizations and skillsets, with customer focus and empathy as key values we’d love to talk!
