Job Duties: Conduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyzes results to ensure that software meets or exceeds standards and end-use requirements. Responsible for tests, methods, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance and serviceability standards. Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommend corrective action. Ensure that system tests are successfully completed and all problems are resolved. Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products. Implement and define testing methodology and standards to improve results. Provide feedback to developers on potential changes. Work independently with other engineering functions to design, develop, and implement procedures for testing that are in compliance with industry specific standards. Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives and lead people, projects, and operations. Adhere to cost/delivery/quality targets established during regression and testing phases. May be assigned to various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
Job Requirements: Master’s degree in Comp. Sci., Engin(any), Business, Math, Physics, or related technical field. 24 months experience in job offered or computer related occupation. Education or experience must include: 1) Enterprise level NAS system configuration and administration, 2) Design/implementation of automated tests using the Perl scripting language to test enterprise level NAS system functionality, 3) Install and Configuration of Virtual Machines using VMware ESX Server 3.5 to 5.0, 4) Clariion Block Storage administration and testing of Clariion Block Storage features and functionality by developing automated test script using Automatos tool, 5) RSA Archer GRC administration and testing on mobile and desktop platforms. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
