We’re looking for a Business Applications Solution Sales Specialist (SSP) which is basically someone that sells the applications that run every business in the world. So if you have the passion & experience to run complex and competitive sales process with C-level executives about business transformation, organizational change and financial value proposition (ROI), then read on.

Based in St. Lake City or Denver, this role will cover the region with a focus on generating new business. So what do the best people in this role today have in common? (1) they’re credible. Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver revenue through new customer acquisition in the territory
- Build and manage a sales pipeline by prospecting and working with partners & account managers for referrals
- Drive the sales process with while leading internal and external partner resources
- Develop in-depth understanding of related solutions and the value they bring in solving business problems

The SSP will need to be able to successfully work in a matrix organization, as they work with multiple teams within Microsoft to execute the sales process and rely on partners to provide expertise and resources to execute the sales process. Basically, if you are a “lone wolf” this isn’t for you.

Skills/Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of direct selling experience, preferably in selling applications to line of business executives (HR, CMO, VP Sales, CFO etc). In addition, this role requires strong professional communication ability - both written and oral. To effectively execute the business solutions sales process, this individual is required to have a history of successful sales performance, understand sales methodologies, pipeline and forecast execution and negotiation. Additional Information: BA/BS degree is preferred. An average of 20-40% travel is expected for this role and the individual should be based near a Microsoft office in St. Lake City or Denver.
